Upcoming Gaming Gadgets of 2013
A lot of hardware has been announced by top gaming companies many months ago, including the most anticipated new PlayStation 4, and the expectation is that this new console will be launched at this year’s E3 with other more gaming gizmos. So, here’s a quick round-up of the 3 of the most anticipated forthcoming gaming hardware of the year.
PS4 was described as “foundation of next generation platform” by Sony CEO Andre House, and claimed that the gaming console will give every player experiences that exceed wildest expectations. The console is said to be powered by 8-core AMD Bulldozer, with 160GB of HDD and a system memory of 8GB, plus other more excellent engineering choices to ensure top-quality gaming.
Xbox 720 is rumoured to be released in time for ‘Holidays 2013.’ Microsoft’s next Xbox is said to have wireless connectivity protocols including Wi-Fi. The upcoming console will be powered by 8-core CPU with 8GB of RAM, and a 50GB-capable 6x Blu-ray drive. It will also come with HDMI 1.4a, which can support 3D over Ethernet, HDMI, and 4k resolution for exceptional gaming visuals.
Razer Edge is a high-powered Windows 8 console, aiming to cross the gap between a gaming laptop and tablet. It is powered by Intel’s 3rd gen Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GT 640M GPU, with 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD. Talking about high screen resolutions, Razer Edge is far behind Xbox and PS4 with its low resolution of 1366×768. The good thing, though, is that the applications are running smoothly and the gaming presentation is pretty good. The new portable gaming console is said to be released on the 2nd or 3rd quarter of the year.
